Gate Exam 2024: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all India Entrance exam, conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science and IIT’s (Bombay, Roorkee, Madras, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Delhi) on behalf of National Coordination Board. Full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. There are many competitive exams in India, but Graduate Entrance Test for Engineers is one of the most popular competitive exams. Graduate Aptitude Test 2024 is a computer based test conducted by IIT Guwahati in 2024. The main motto of conducting this exam is to give admissions for the undergraduate students to study post graduation/M.E program in the IITs, NITs, and other private institutions. GATE 2024 Eligibility Details
The Candidates who completed the following education can apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024.
- B.E/Btech/B pharma
- B. sc/ B.S
- Int. M Sc/B.S
- B. Arch
- Equivalent to B.E/ Btech
- M. Sc/MCA/MA
- Int. ME/M. Tech or Dual Degree
Note: Year of passing graduation for all the applying candidates must be 2024, the students who are in the final year of the degree can also apply for Graduate Aptitude Test 2024.
GATE 2024 Exam Date
Gate Exam for this year is scheduled on January 30 to 07 february 2024 (Only Weekends, i.e Saturday and Sunday). Exam is divided into 2 shifts and duration is 3 hours. For more detail, check out below exam schedule in tabular form.

GATE 2024 Exam Result Date
As per as official notice by Official website of IISc Banglore, Gate Exam result is scheduled for March 19 2024 At 17.00 hours. Result will be made available at official website. GATE Score is valid for three years from the announcement of the results.
After the declaration of results, qualified candidates can download their GATE 2024 Score Card for the paper (for which he/she has taken the examination). Score card will be made available from March 27, 2024 to 29 May 2024. After 29 May 2024, a candidate is liable to give Rs 600 late fees for requesting score card.
GATE Admit Card 2024
Admit card will be made available online from 17th December 2023. Candidate need to download and print the very own admit card in order to get entry in examination hall. Like in a case of Jee, no admit card will be send by post. All the procedure is now automated.
In order to get entry in examination Hall, admit card must be accompanied with non copied/scanned photo ID. An identity proof is must.
